The Institute Of Pest Management at Sokoine University of Agriculture, led by a researcher Prof. Apia Massawe, has conducted a survey in three villages located in rural Morogoro rura District, Morogoro Region
This survey conducted in the following villages:- Kiziwa village in Mkuyuni ward, Bunduki village in Mgeta ward, and Pangawe village in Mikese ward at morogoro region other area is kidomole Village, Fukayosi Village and Mwavi at Coastal region
The main purpose of conducting surveys in these villages is to gather information on various issues related to rats, challenges farmers face due to destructive pests damaging their crops, as well as their understanding of birds such as owls, and the community’s perspectives on these birds.
